The City of Amberly is a mysterious place, set in Alberta, Canada. Few have heard of it. Those who have, and sought it out, have often not returned. Why is that?
Amberly is at war.
There are things that go bump in the night, and you can be assured... It isn't the doing of the rats. People, humans, have been found murdered across the city, all with the same basic causes of death. Puncture wounds, slashes, severe blood loss... Police suspect it's a serial killer, if not a gang of them.
The humans who reside in the City of Amberly know not what is happening around them, and the possible immanency of their demise. Puppets to the vampires, they go about their lives without so much as a second thought to vampires. Who believes in vampires nowadays?
