Back story


Thousands of years ago when the land of Espirita was still young a small herd of horses lived on the island. The herd was full of different types of horses. Some being Pegasus and others unicorns. Some even had special powers. But one thing they all had in common was that they believed in the gods that watched over them. One day the gods foretold that 3 foals would be born. Each would carry multiple powers and be gods. It had never been herd of for a horse to have more then just one power so it was hard for the herd to believe.

A couple months later the prophecy came true. Three mares all had foals on the same day. 2 colts and a filly. The filly was a black unicorn with gold streaks through her tail and mane. The 2 colts were both black but one was a Pegasus with huge white wings and a gold oak symbol on his flank. The other colt was just a normal black Frisian.

Weeks later it was apparent that they each carried 3 powers. Night the filly was a unicorn with the power of healing and elemental control. Wind the colt was a Pegasus with the power of speed and elemental control as well. While Demetri was a normal Frisian with teleportation, mind reading, and elemental control. The herd members were astounded and treated the young foals like royalty.
3 years later

The foals are now adults. Night became a stunning and graceful mare. Wind a muscular and strong stallion. And Demetri a handsome and smart stallion. They each spent a lot of time together but developed different personalities. Wind was kind and giving. Demetri was mean and cunning. While Night was just stuck in the middle.

Soon Wind and Night fell in love. They spent all their time together. Of course Demetri became jealous. He was in love with Night as well. Soon he came up with a plan to kill Wind and take Night for himself. But he knew he couldn't do it all by himself. He gathered followers from the herd and set up a meeting with Wind. He ambushed him and sent his followers against him. But Wind easily took them down. Demetri was a different story. They were were equally matched. Wind and Demetri fought for hours. Though neither backed down.

Night worried about Wind went out searching for them. She found them fighting. Shocked Night jumped in between the 2 stallions and begged them to stop. Wind agreed but Demetri refused and lunged once more at Wind. But Night reacted first. None of them knew what had happened until Demetri fell to the ground dead. A stab wound straight to his heart. Disgusted with herself Night ran back to Wind. Crying and distressed.

Wind assured her that everything would be ok and led her back to the herd. Impressed with Wind and Night the gods graced them by making Wind a God and Night a Goddess. But everything was not over. Demetri's soul was so filled with evil and hate that when he died he became a demon just as Night and Wind became gods. Night and Wind found out and locked him in a deep chasm in the Rune Cave. 4 stones were placed to keep him in and a wall was placed in front of the chasm entrance. To make sure no one else could enter the cave and release Demetri, Wind and Night covered the wall with ancient runes to guard the door.

Present Time

The equines of the land have lived in peace for thousands of years until now. Somehow Demetri found a way to send the the stones around the land. Hoping that those others will find them and release him. Each stone is endowed with an elemental power and whichever herd controls the stone is given that elemental power. But to release Demetri each stone must be in the possession of another horse. If they are by themselves they are useless. Demetri spreads news around about the stones. Wind and Night try to stop them but they are too late. All the equines in the land are already on the search for them.

5 stallions emerge from far reaches of the land. They are all searching for the stones hoping to gain power from them. They all claim a piece of land for themselves and race to gain herd members and search for the stones.
