Name- ShadowedClaw
Age- 65 stars
Previous Names-ShadowedKit ShadowedPaw
Gender- She-cat
Clan- MoonClan
Rank- Deputy
Extra- N/A
Appearance- ShadowedClaw looks very beautiful she has a shadowy black pelt with green eyes and is long and lithe. When moving she seemed to be made from the dark as she slips past corners and over the silvery trees. Sadly the appearance changes once you see her left side. A ragged scar runs from her shoulder over her ribs and comes to a stop on her haunches. Its slivery glow seems to match that of the trees she lives in. Its mere size and enormity startles those who first see it. Thankfully it has healed well and it only mars her beauty rather than affecting her movement. She is not all that strong, when it comes to brawn she loses miserably. However she is surprisingly flexible and quick, near impossible to pin down.
Personality- ShadowedClaw was once happy and friendly, ever the optimist. Due to an accident her personality has taken a sudden change. She is now solemn and poised, always diplomatic. Smalltalk eats at her nerves though she realizes its importance to others and tries to socialize. Despite her attempts she usually only speaks when needed and her words are laden with meaning. Her cold analytical nature causes her to say things others would prefer left unsaid. Despite how it may seem she is incredibly loyal. She will only submit when it is the last possible choice, which depending on the circumstances can make or destroy her/ her responsibility. This all may seem really great, but she does have a character flaw that has been known to cause problems. She often goes off on her own to hunt or patrol and obviously that creates several major problems. Not only that but her lack of socialization puts her outside clan gossip and that makes her ignorant to facts she really should know.
History-
She grew up in a small litter of two. Like any kit she was bouncy and near uncontrollable, always running off looking for adventures. Luckily her mother was always the wiser and stopped her before any she did any harm. Her sister and she started out really close, though when they were made apprentices they grew apart.
ShadowedClaw faced a problem in her apprentice training. She was undoubtingly weak, once pinned she was dead, battle lost. Thankfully she and her mentor were able to get her fighting skills up. Through a burst of ingenuity, they discovered her amazing flexibility. After giving up on making her stronger they diverted all their energy into making her quicker and more agile. In the end she was almost like a ghost in the mock fights. She would slip past the reaching paws, and almost bend her body back on its self to dodge and attack.
It was when she became a warrior that she changed. After a particularly bad storm she went out for a quick hunt with one of the older warriors. Ecstatic over being out again, she was jumping all over the place. One of the branches she was bouncing on had been savaged by the storm. Feeling it start to give she prepared to simply hop on to another branch. Pushing off her hind legs slipped on the wet and mossy bark. She tumbled off and another branch ripped her open from shoulder to tail. The medicine cat was amazing. With diligence he was able to heal her near severed muscles. Afterwards she had a strong fear of falling. Angry that the accident was costing her so much she set out to overcome the fear. Now all that remains of the accident is a terrible memory and a long, ugly scar.
Roleplay Example- The moon glistened through the branches and threw the tree-top world into a surreal relief. The glistening bark seemed to be made from the stars themselves as leaves whispered in the breeze. ShadowedClaw sat on one off these mythical limbs and closed her eyes to soak in the peace. She hadn’t planned to come out tonight, she never did. Yet there she sat, away from her clan mates, all alone. It was times like these that she let all of her struggles and responsibilities slip away. Here she never had to find the words for small talk or worry that she was becoming shrew. All the duties of a deputy to would slowly fill her mind before dripping away. It was her job to keep the clan safe, to take the risks a leader couldn’t, so why was she doing something as stupid as this? Shaking her head she pushed away the question. Glancing at her silvery scar she let the memories fill her thoughts. She had already changed so much, she was afraid that without these little moments she might lose herself entirely. Suppressing the shudder that always followed the thought she stood. If she was out she might as well patrol. Giving a thrust she sailed through the air and hopped from limb to limb, looking for invaders.
